Konnecting Pty Ltd is looking for a dedicated and skilled Hydraulic Sales & Service Technician to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about hydraulics and enjoy a hands-on role, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role

As a Hydraulic Sales & Service Technician, you will be responsible for managing a service vehicle, responding to breakdowns, and handling installations as needed. You'll provide exceptional sales and service to all accounts, fostering business growth through proactive customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Service Vehicle Operations:

• Deliver top-notch hose and fittings service to customers.
• Operate a mobile service vehicle, ensuring high-standard on-site repairs.
• Maintain the service vehicle in excellent condition.

Sales: Drive sales by building strong relationships with new and existing customers. Provide prompt written quotes to customers. Issue invoices for completed work in a timely manner using an iPad or company-issued documents. Generate call reports and sales records, inputting data into a CRM system. Collaborate with sales personnel to boost overall sales performance.

Teamwork:

• Work effectively within a team environment.
• Provide technical and operational support to fellow technicians.
• Participate in team meetings, toolbox talks, and company conferences as needed.

Operations:

• Manage inventory levels to meet customer needs.
• Maintain stock in accordance with company policy and conduct regular stocktakes.
• Supervise offsite stocktakes at mine sites as necessary.
• Conduct Take 5 assessments and promote workplace health and safety practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Education & Experience:

• Certificate III or IV in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, Hydraulic Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hydraulic service and sales.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems.

Skills & Abilities: Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and components. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong sales and customer service skills.
