    About the Position:

    As a Construction Helper at NSL Construction, you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction activities. No formal education or prior experience is required, as we provide on-the-job training. This position is recognized as a green job, meaning your efforts will contribute to positive environmental outcomes and help Canada reach its net-zero target.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    Your tasks will include loading and unloading construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. You will assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites, clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and debris.

     

    Work Environment:

    This role involves working outdoors at various locations, in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. You should be prepared for tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, and handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
