Position Overview:

Join our dedicated team at 696311 NB LTD. in Miramichi, NB, where we're seeking a skilled Construction Worker for a full-time, permanent role. You'll earn a competitive hourly wage of $23.00, with work hours ranging from 40 to 44 hours per week. This position offers flexibility in shifts, including day shifts starting at 7:00 a.m., and you'll be starting soon, commencing on July 2, 2024.

 

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Worker, you'll play a vital role in our projects, including loading and transporting construction materials, mixing and spreading concrete and asphalt, and assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs. You'll also perform routine maintenance tasks, operate machinery like saws, nail guns, and drills, and handle various construction tasks with precision and attention to detail.

 

Experience and Skills:

We're looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or related fields. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with expertise in using equipment such as reciprocating saws, circular saws, and air compressors. Experience in surface preparation, including drywall taping and patching, and specialization in residential construction and parts like vinyl siding, insulation, and roofing, will be advantageous.
