Job Overview: We are on the lookout for a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our Parts Warehouse in Perth. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager for Western Australia (WA), the Warehouse Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the warehouse meets its business objectives and runs efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Supervise a team of Team Leaders, ensuring smooth operations across different sections of the warehouse.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement strategic and continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of acceptance and engagement among team members.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all incidents, near-misses, and hazards are reported according to WesTrac's policies.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and coach team members to maintain high performance and adherence to best practices.
• Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop business cases for approval and implementation.
• Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively seek continuous improvement opportunities in collaboration with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

 

Experience: Extensive experience in logistics and warehousing, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role managing mid-to-large teams (50-100 employees). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) including SAP or SCALE/Manhattan, and Lean Warehousing principles. Education: Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Warehousing & Logistics. Skills: Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.
